I started my weight loss journey in March this year. Work was having a contest to see who could lose the most, and I joined.
I Lost around 12lbs, and I wanted to keep going.
I saw an online post about “average to awesome” and asked my friend if she’d like to do it with me. Our boss caught wind of what we were doing and turned us on to Friction CrossFit.
I was told that CrossFit was different, people are not judgmental and are supportive unlike your traditional gym.I said ok.
I fell in love with CrossFit.
I want to be the best version of me that I can.

CrossFit had always peaked my interest, but I kept thinking that I wasn’t strong enough.
Because my parents were always overweight, I just assumed that was the way I should accept I would turn out because I had poor genes.
