  1. Work with you family/host, or plan ahead
    • Don’t be a party pooper, but be smart and take care of yourself.
      • Ask your host if they have any healthier options to prepare, just don’t go too overboard like this guy:
      • Offer to create a dish of your own to bring
      • Eat before arriving, so that you are not staring at the pies with hangry eyes
  2. Alternate alcohol with water
    • For every spiked egg nog, be sure to consume 20 ounces of water
    • 20 ounces may seem like a lot, but consider this: you will be full, hydrated AND sober enough not to start a fight with your siblings!  So that’s good.
  3. Be Active, create a new tradition
    • Hit a quick workout in the morning to spike your metabolism and energy levels (try some of ours here: )
    • Start a tradition with the family
      • Play a game of football in the snow
      • Play tag with the kids
      • Make bets with everyone that you can do more push ups than them
      • Arm wrestle
      • Play an overly aggressive game of Spoons

And remember, slipping up a little is okay, just have fun and be smart this Holiday!
